This month, we welcomed Ivan Beaumont to the EMCC UK Board, taking up our newly created role of Director of Digital. Ivan, who is a qualified executive coach, team coach and coaching supervisor, previously worked in IT roles for 35 years. He introduces the initial intentions of the role here.

I am delighted to join EMCC UK as the Director of Digital at what is clearly an exciting time for the organisation. I’m looking forward to helping create an environment that makes our organisation the go-to membership body for mentoring, coaching and supervision. This is a brand-new role and demonstrates the intentions of the Board to greatly improve the level of support we offer to our communities, members and volunteers, with enabling and fit for purpose technology.

I am excited. I have joined the Board at a brilliant time. In 2023, we intend to improve the functionality and performance of our association management software; introduce a fully integrated and accessible website that truly serves all our members; commence the journey toward the introduction and integration of a community engagement platform.

If this sounds a bit technical, then yes, it is. However, it will truly transform your membership experience and you will really notice the difference when we start to implement the changes.

To deliver these intentions will take time and effort. Our aim is for you to start noticing a difference in the second half of 2023, but in the lead up to then we will keep you informed of progress, letting you know what to expect and when.
