Rachael Hanley-Browne, President of EMCC UK, is stepping down in January 2024, after serving on the EMCC UK board since October 2020. We are therefore seeking to elect and appoint a new President, who will commence their role in February 2024.

The role of President offers an exciting chance to lead EMCC UK into the next phase of our continued development within the coaching, mentoring and supervision profession in the UK.

The President of EMCC UK is a high profile and prestigious position for a coaching, mentoring or supervision professional with excellent leadership and communication skills. The role will require you to work collaboratively across boundaries and with various communities to promote the aims and aspirations of EMCC, both nationally and internationally. You will demonstrate a clear commitment to our values of supportive, inclusive, progressive and professional.

EMCC UK is a professional membership organisation which encourages excellence and progression for mentors, coaches, and supervisors. The role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional profile, as you will be required to work closely with experts, thought leaders and key influencers in the field.

We have grown considerably over the last few years and have almost 3,500 members, including individuals, organisations, higher education, and training providers. Our finances are sound, and we have reserves in place to see us through another crisis such as Covid. We will shortly be launching a new website and have undertaken a significant IT infrastructure improvement. You will be leading an organisation that is in great shape!

If you have the enthusiasm and ambition to lead EMCC UK for the next three years, and you can devote between 1-2 days a week to make a difference to our exciting profession, we would love to hear from you.

Find the vacancy page here, which includes the role specification and application pack. Please contact Rachael Hanley-Browne, President, for more information about the application process, or for an informal chat at [email protected].

The closing date for applications is Friday 27 October. Interviews will take place in November, and the election will be held in early December 2023.
