Four of our guest speakers at Festival 2024, the EMCC UK coaching, mentoring and supervision conference, look ahead to their sessions and share more about what we can expect from them on the day. Everyone attending the online conference on 23 April will have access to six core subject areas: wellbeing, inclusion, mentoring, supervision, AI, and team coaching. Karim Hirani
Karim Hirani will be speaking in the conference’s AI core subject area, leading three sessions on AI conversation bots, harnessing the power of AI in coaching practice, and the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI. Karim is an experienced leadership facilitator and executive coach, author of The Four Greatest Coaching Conversations. He is currently heading the AI and Coaching Strategy in Europe at BTS Coach, and is also Learning Architect at Coaches Rising.

Jenni Jones
Dr Jenni Jones will be speaking in the conference’s reciprocal and reverse mentoring core subject area, leading three sessions on the evolution of mentoring, reverse and reciprocal mentoring, and embracing change through reverse and reciprocal mentoring in the modern workplace. Jenni is an Associate Professor in Coaching and Mentoring at the University of Wolverhampton Business School, UK. She teaches undergraduate and professional postgraduate programmes mostly focused on coaching, mentoring, HRD, leadership, change and diversity.

Bernice Hewson
Bernice Hewson will be speaking in the conference’s coaching for inclusion core subject area, hosting two sessions on building the case for a critically conscious practice in coaching, and introducing conscientization as a literacy in coaching and supervision. Bernice is a racial equity scholar, anti-racism educator, and the visionary founder of Raising Racial Consciousness Ltd. She collaborates with coach training providers and leadership teams, providing strategic guidance to instil and advance racial equity within their organizations.

Ana Paula Nacif
Dr Ana Paula Nacif will be speaking in the conference’s wellbeing coaching core subject area, leading three sessions at Festival 2024, on the inextricable link between coaching and wellbeing, cultivating wellbeing for coaches and coachees, and opportunities and challenges for coaching with wellbeing in mind. Ana is an experienced executive and group coach, facilitator and consultant who works with individuals and organisations interested in improving wellbeing and leadership capabilities. With over 17 years of coaching experience within the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, she is a published writer and active researcher in the fields of coaching and wellbeing, and is co-editor of the Philosophy of Coaching journal.
