Many of you will remember Sheila Udall, who was one of our longest standing and highly valued volunteers. Sheila gave her time and energy to EMCC UK for over 12 years, initially as Lead Coordinator of the North West Network, which she did for nearly 10 years, and latterly as a Governor Member for three years. She was also a mentor and member of the Mentoring Project Team before she stepped down due to health reasons in August 2022.

Sheila was incredibly generous with her time, and was always very happy to share her wisdom and knowledge of EMCC, and coaching and mentoring, with anyone who crossed her path – from Board and Governor members, other volunteers, the Operations Team and both members and non-members. Anyone who met her will have been touched by her, and it is with great sadness that we share the news of her passing on 22 December at St Catherine’s hospice in Preston, with her husband Denis by her side.
