Anna Wesson, Chair of EMCC UK Governor Members, writes:

This month saw the EMCC UK annual general meeting. The meeting gave us the opportunity, among the official business, to reflect on an extraordinary year for us as an organisation.

The past 12 months have seen EMCC UK continue to grow and strengthen under the expert leadership of Rachael and her team. Some of the changes they have introduced (among many others) include new roles on the board, a growing operations team, and a vibrant knowledge exchange directorate. On behalf of the governors, I would like to extend my thanks to the board for their hard work, all voluntary, in making EMCC UK the success it is today.

As part of the annual general meeting, the governing body reported that it has started to review its ways of working, so that the body can contribute to a more effective service to members. It intends to do this by strengthening the relationship between the EMCC UK board, the governing body, and members. As this process evolves, we will share our progress with the rest of EMCC UK.
