EMCC UK’s Third Sector Forum has now had a full year’s events and is going really well. 21 Forum members participated in a benchmarking study of what coaching and mentoring activity is already taking place within the membership and the results were circulated after the October meeting. Mencap, the British Heart Foundation, Notting Hill Housing and WaterAid have all acted as hosts and around fifty charities receive information about the quarterly meetings. We have had a variety of excellent speakers and topics covered so far have been: How to build successful collaboration between charities on coaching and mentoring; How to evaluate the impact of coaching and mentoring; Using pro bono external coaches; Action learning and Reverse mentoring. David Clutterbuck will be speaking at our January event about "How coaching and mentoring can support voluntary organisations’ effectiveness” and John Leary-Joyce will be speaking about team coaching in April. Additional members are very welcome. Contact Katharine St John-Brooks at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested.
