Sarah Bailey, the EMCC UK Professional Development Director, writes: We are seeking volunteers and interested contributors to join us and help with the formation and ongoing governance of a new Higher Education Special Interest Group (SIG). The aim of the group is to further the development of coaching, mentoring and supervision in Higher Education, and to support current practitioners by discussing research and experiences, and exploring best practice.

You may be a coach or mentor, an academic, researcher, leader, supervisor or scheme coordinator – or simply have an interest in coaching and mentoring in the Higher Education sector. If you have the time to help with the creation of this SIG, which could benefit all within the UK academic community, we would love to hear from you.

Anyone can join this initial discussion for free regardless of their membership status. However, volunteering as part of the team running the group requires an active EMCC membership – find more information on membership here. A small fee will apply for non-members wishing to join future sessions as part of the group, and all are welcome to attend.

To volunteer or contribute, or if you are simply interested in attending this new SIG, please contact me here:
