Yorkshire Network Virtual CPD Event - Coaching with the Environment In Mind - 12th March 2024

Kate Smith is a Yorkshire based Leadership Development Consultant, Facilitator and Coach. The work that she does with organisations to develop their Leadership Teams is firmly based in her conviction that we can all make our workplaces positive spaces where both people and the planet can thrive.

She believes that one of our most effective tools in the fight against climate change, biodiversity loss, and the countless social challenges humanity faces today is the power of community, connection, and collaboration.

It's for this reason that Kate has created two sustainability-focused communities, each with a specific purpose in mind, The Ripple Circle and the Yorkshire Eco-Business Network. She also brings theses important issues into her coaching practice and has offered to share her thoughts, useful approaches and practical tips with the EMCC Yorkshire Network.

Kate will share with us:

- The intrinsic link between overwhelmed and stressed people, and the overwhelmed and stressed planet
- How climate change could be showing up in coaching (even if the client doesn’t realise it)
- What a better future could look like
- How coaches can help support people and planet through the climate crisis

This event will appeal to internal and external coaches alike and attendees are most definitely welcome from all Regional Networks and Special Interest Groups.

We look forward to seeing you there!
