We are delighted that Dr Carole Pemberton, author of Resilience: A Coaches Guide and leading executive coach and supervisor, will be our guest speaker for the evening, facilitating an interactive session. In addition Jim Rees (EMCC UK Professional Excellence Director) will introduce EMCC UK and Tina Dickens will host networking and welcome you to the Hertfordshire network. 

Carole Pemberton and Resilience Coaching

Resilience is a current ‘buzz’ word.  Coachees talk of having lost their resilience, organisations are wanting staff to stay resilient but what do each of them mean, and how can coaches work effectively with resilience issues?

In this session, Dr Carole Pemberton will look at:

• What we know about resilience from 50 years of research that is relevant when coaching.
• The degree to which resilience is innate or learned
• How to identify the resilience resources that a coachee has and resilience gaps
• 3 ways of working with resilience issues.

The session will combine input with experiential exercises.
