West Midlands - Culture and Coaching

‘Culture eats strategy for breakfast’ is a quote that we have often heard. We know that its influence on each of us is pervasive and enduring. What does this mean when we coach people from different backgrounds and cultural experience. Our cultural adaptability is a key skill in a changing world. Based on the work of Erin Meyer, Linda Marshall from Barefoot Coaching will consider the cultural continuums that affect the ways we think and communicate. Through coaching practice, we will explore some of the ways in which culture affects our coaching relationships, and how we can better build relationships across cultures.

The event will be held in Rooms MU504/505 on the top floor.

Networking will start at 5.30pm, with the event starting at 6.00pm.

(The room may be subject to change and will be re-confirmed nearer the time).
