Coaching Psychology SIG - A Taste of Psychosynthesis - 15th April 2024

Developed in the 1900s by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli, Psychosynthesis is a psychology of hope and human potential and is still relevant today. In Assagioli’s own words, Psychosynthesis’ aim is to “achieve an harmonious inner integration, true self-realisation, and right relationships with others” – a perfect underpinning for a coaching practice at depth.

Psychosynthesis is an extremely versatile psychology, suited to therapy, coaching and personal development alike. It offers many tools that can be integrated into many different coaching practices and styles.

It is first and foremost a very practical psychology, but what sets it apart is the context it offers. As Assagioli said, “Psychosynthesis is holistic, global and inclusive.”

The aim of this session is to give you a taste of psychosynthesis and what it has to offer.
Nathalie will share some of the key models of psychosynthesis that underpin its application, whilst weaving in some exercises to invite a direct experience of the theory.
