What is this event about?
The aim of the event is to consider the question:
“How do we develop independent thinking to enhance performance?”
You will be introduced to the ten components of a Thinking EnvironmentTM and consider
the value they can bring to a variety of situations. Opportunities will be offered for you
to experience the creation of a quality thinking space with your peers.

What will it cover?
“The quality of everything we do depends on the quality of thinking we do first”.
Nancy Kline
Inspired by Nancy Kline, Susie will facilitate an event giving you the opportunity to
consider and experience how to create a quality space in which your clients can do their
best thinking.
During this two hour, experiential CPD event you will:
Consider key attributes for creating a quality Thinking EnvironmentTM, useful when
coaching, mentoring, in meetings or in your wider work and life.
Experience quality thinking time to develop thoughts about a topic that is important to you.
Practice your coaching / mentoring and create a quality thinking space for your client.

There will be an opportunity for peer coaching / mentoring, to work with live topics and explore
how developing a Thinking EnvironmentTM can make a positive impact in your workplace.

Why should I attend?
This session provides you with an opportunity to pause and reflect on your practice as a coach and/or mentor.
By attending you will gain:
knowledge of the Ten Components of a Thinking EnvironmentTM
practical experience of Thinking Pairs, from Time to Think

Both of which you can apply immediately to enhance your coaching and mentoring effectiveness.

How will it run?
The session will be interactive, providing practical experience that participants will be able to use straight away. It will be facilitated using a combination of methods including group work, peer coaching and plenary discussions.
You will be able to develop your thinking with reference to real topics you bring to the session.
