About the Presenter

Jeff Matthews is a qualified coach supervisor and coach of 30 years’ experience. He has his own practice as Managing Partner of The Madison Group coaching consultancy. He is appreciated by clients for his broad range of expertise as both coach and supervisor, working across the full range of organisations in both UK and Europe, from private companies, household Times top 250 names, public sector and faith-based organisations.


His style is both supportive and stimulating, encouraging the people he is working with to grow and develop their coaching and leadership “practice” whatever the context and to create their own unique ‘coaching signature style’. 


He has a first degree in business and practised as a marketing and general management professional before forming his own coaching consultancy in 1993. Since then his development has included studying and qualifying as a psychotherapist using two styles Transactional Analysis and Brief Solution Focussed. Both approaches inform his work along with systemic stances such as Appreciative Inquiry. He is MBTI accredited and a Spiritual Director in Worcester Diocese. He is a trainer of coaches, and coach supervisors to master’s degree level and has programmes accredited with ILM (City and Guilds), the Institute of Leadership and Management, Middlesbrough Teesside University and University of Birmingham.
